General Hospital Spoilers: Ace Emergency Ruins Spencer & Trina’s First Time Together – Passionate Encounter Derailed?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that all the Greenland drama has died down, so now the show is taking Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) story with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in a new direction.

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has been defeated, so all the disturbing Cassadine chaos is behind Trina and Spencer – at least for now.

Of course, Spencer decided to keep the evidence that Victor likely fabricated, but that’s a problem for down the road.

Trina surely won’t be happy about Spencer keeping secrets, but they’ve got other issues to deal with in the meantime.

At Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) birthday party, Trina and Spencer’s new source of drama became clear.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) went on and on about how difficult it could be to juggle a schedule when you’re helping to care for a baby.

Although Spencer is Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) big brother, he’s really serving as more of a fill-in dad right now.

Spencer is essentially co-parenting with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), so he’s making Ace a big priority in his life.

Portia basically thinks Trina should be enjoying her youth instead of being saddled with a troublemaker boyfriend who’s caring for his twisted ex’s baby.

In addition to the threat scheming Portia poses, Spencer’s devotion to Ace could become another major bump in the road in his relationship with Trina.

When Spencer suddenly had to bail on the party and pick Ace up from daycare, Trina was disappointed.

It felt like the first of many times that Spencer may have to put Ace first and leave Trina hanging.

Since Trina and Spencer’s romance has been the ultimate slow burn, we won’t be surprised if GH writers use this Ace predicament to drag things out even further.

Spencer and Trina still haven’t had their first time making love yet.

Although they came close on The Haunted Star, Trina and Spencer were interrupted by the ship’s Greenland arrival.

How much do you want to bet that Spencer and Trina’s next attempt at their first time in bed together will go awry, too?

Considering how many times Trina and Spencer almost kissed before their first actual lip lock, it makes sense that their lovemaking will keep getting delayed as well.

It’s easy to imagine Spencer pulling off a romantic gesture before some Ace emergency strikes.

It might even be a situation that Esme manipulates, but Trina may end up alone and disappointed regardless.

Just before Spencer can make love to Trina, perhaps he’ll get called away and have to put Ace first again.

It could leave Trina wondering if this is always how it’s going to be and make her worry that Portia’s right.
