Lindsie Chrisley Takes Jab At Parents’ Crimes

Todd and Julie Chrisley both entered prison in January 2023. They were separated with Julie heading to Kentucky while Todd was sent to Pensacola, Florida. Communication has been extraordinarily impossible for them while their daughter, Savannah Chrisley has taken on a lot of responsibilities. She is raising her siblings Grayson and Chloe Chrisley while still working in real estate and as a podcast host. Yet, she has taken jabs at her older sister, Lindsie Chrisley for helping to put their parents behind bars.

They were sentenced to a collective nineteen years which has since been slightly reduced for tax evasion and defrauding community banks. With Monday, April 15th being tax day, it seemed like everyone was in a scramble to get their taxes done or at least file an extension. As for Lindsie, she took the time to make a post on Instagram of her living her best life. Yet, it was her caption that made fans take notice.

Her first line was: “Life dues paid, including but not limited to my taxes 🤠.” This seemed to be a jab at Todd and Julie’s legal troubles. This was so apparent that it made its way to a Reddit thread where the OP questioned if it was, in fact, a dig. So, what did followers think?

I mean, if my parents were in federal prison for that, I’d find it very hard to post that without it being some sort of dig. Any other context just feels..weird.

Who Is She?

Though Chrisley fans and followers did feel that Lindsie Chrisley was making a dig at Todd and Julie Chrisley, they were not mad. In fact, they understood why she said what she did and deemed it justifiable. More so, they pointed out that only Todd is her biological parent. Yet, as much as they loved what she wrote, some did not even recognize Lindsie. They felt that she had changed too much physically and altered her appearance, needing to take a step back. Either way, she made a statement and is clearly living every day to the fullest.
