Savannah Chrisley hates holidays, birthdays, and other notable events because Todd and Julie are serving their combined 19-year prison sentences. However friends are important, and she shouted out some loyal people. Speaking on her Unlocked podcast recently, podcast, she explained how much their actions meant to her.

Savannah Chrisley Misses Her Mom and Dad

When the former USA Network star flew to New Zealand to film for Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, she put herself through some terrifying situations. And, she did that just so Todd and Julie could see her. Bear in mind, she can’t be with both of them all the time. Perhaps they loved watching her on the prison’s TVs. Not a day goes by when they are not on her mind.

Savannah Chrisley fought like crazy to get Todd and Julie home. After all, Teresa Giudice did not go to prison at the same time as Joe. Mainly, that was because they had minor children. So, do the Chrisleys, and Grayson and Chloe now live with Todd’s daughter. As the holiday seasons come along, the heartbreak for all of them seems terribly sad. Thanksgiving wasn’t going to be a sweet time because of that. Additionally, some plans fell through. But loyal friends came through.

Chrisley Knows Best Friends Stay Loyal And Kind

ET Online reported that the reality TV star opened up about what happened. Apparently, she and her boyfriend, Robert Shiver planned something for Thanksgiving but it all went south. So, stuck with nothing much to do while her parents remained locked up in jail, things seemed a bit bleak. That was until she ran into her friend, Brittany Aldean. She’s the wife of Jason, famous for being a country music star.

Savannah Chrisley explained how the couple offered them the use of their home in “Turks and Caicos.” Grayson and Chloe, Savannah, and Robert Shiver all went along and enjoyed family time along with Robert’s children. The outlet cited her as gushing about such wonderful friends.

It makes me emotional just talking about it because it has been tough not having Mom and Dad home, and to see the people around me that have loved us and cared about us, it made me realize that family isn’t just blood. You can have a family that you weren’t born into and, for me, those are friends. Those are friends who show up like family should, and for that I’m so grateful
