Julie Chrisley is scared that her cancer may have come back while she is in federal prison. Julie had breast cancer in 2012 and had a double mastectomy in 2013. While in prison she found out some news that she had to deal with on her own. Her daughter Savannah Chrisley shared her mom’s story and let people know how messed up the system is. Todd And Julie Chrisley Get Prison Time

Todd and Julie Chrisley were arrested for tax fraud. This gave them a big sentence in federal prison. However, their sentences have recently been reduced. Julie is now serving a five-year sentence while Todd is serving a ten-year sentence. Todd is in Pensacola Florida and Julie is in Lexington Kentucky. This has been a hard time for both of them, but just as difficult for their family. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley has had to take in her younger siblings Grayson and Chloe. She has full custody over the two and has had to navigate through being their sister as well as a mother figure.

Savannah Shares What Her Mom Is Going Through

Savannah Chrisley received a letter from her mother that shared she may have a tumor that is leading to her cancer coming back.

“I walked in thinking it was Gynecology. I sat down with the doctor and she proceeds to tell me that my HCG level was high — 10.2. This is a pregnancy hormone. It should not be that high. If it were a little higher, I would test positive on a pregnancy test. Since that’s not a possibility, it could be a sign of a tumor, I literally fell apart, how can this be happening? I’m going to have blood work redone and get a scan. I’ve not told anyone and I’m not going to until I know what’s going on. I’m so scared. I just want my husband [Todd Chrisley]. I don’t know if I can do this without him.”

Her daughter was not happy that she was not notified about this.

“This right here is a perfect example of the lack of health care that you receive in the system and how they’re not the most educated doctors that work for the BOP. They tell your family absolutely nothing. I wasn’t notified of any of this,” she added. “They don’t care. If my mom were to go to the hospital I would not know. And to think of her sitting there worrying about, ‘Oh, my God. My cancer may be back…’ ”

It seems as though the family was not notified at all and Savannah is not happy about that. However, it is unknown if Julie’s cancer has returned as she is not getting prompt medical care in prison. It was difficult for fans to see how Julie just wanted Todd and did not know how she could get through it without him. The two did get their prison sentences reduced but not by much.
