Late Nic Kerdiles Estate Sued By Other Party Of Fatal Accident

Nic Kerdiles was known as a professional hockey player but really gained fame as Savannah Chrisley’s beau. He appeared on Chrisley Knows Best and eventually proposed to Savannah. The two planned to tie the knot and her father, Todd Chrisley was really excited. Everyone in the family loved Nic so it came as a shock when they took a step back from their engagement. Eventually, they called off the wedding and their relationship. However, Nic seemed to stay close to the family and was often candid about his mental health struggles.

He moved on to a bigger and better life in real estate. Sadly, his life was taken when he was just twenty-nine in a fatal crash. Of course, the Chrisley family mourned the loss. Savannah’s parents were already behind bars when this happened so it was unclear their initial reactions. They did issue a statement:

“Nic was a treasured friend of the entire. Almost like a member of the family. Adored and loved completely by both Todd and Julie and, of course, Savannah. They will miss him forever because he was irreplaceable.”

When he passed, Nic’s parents, Nathalie and Michel, wanted to be appointed the executors of his estate. Now, according to Radar Online, the estate has a lawsuit against it from the other person involved in the wreck, Da’Shaun Williamson. Per the suit: “Kerdiles, decedent, is at fault for the collision.”

Apparently, Williamson had the right-of-way and not Nic Kerdiles. He also alleged that Kerdiles did not yield or obey a stop sign at an intersection. More so, Kerdiles was not driving at a proper speed limit “considering the traffic upon and conditions of the roadway.” There was also the inebriation factor so, with all of that combined, Williamson states that he was injured, accrued medical bills, could not work, and more. In the end, he is asking the estate for over $25K in damages.

The Alcohol Aspect

Nic Kerdiles lived an exciting life. He lived his dreams and was able to show off lavish homes while still riding when he wanted to. However, one aspect of his death was the alcohol aspect. Per the Medical Examiner, Kerdiles had a BAC of .124% when he tragically passed. In Kentucky, the legal limit is .08%. This will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Do you believe that Da’Shaun Williamson is entitled to what he is asking for from the estate? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
