Josslyn and Cameron looked like the perfect young couple on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but after all the secrets and lies, it’s starting to look more like they’re headed for a breakup! Things haven’t been the same since Esme leaked the sᴇx ᴛᴀᴘᴇ of their first time, plus, Joss wasn’t thrilled to find out that Cam knew about Spencer really being on Trina’s side instead of Esme’s during the whole ordeal.
“A lot of stuff has happened with her and Cam that has affected the relationship,” Eden McCoy (Josslyn) admitted to Soap Opera Digest. “She’s dealing with trust issues because he knew this entire other side of Spencer that he decided to keep from Joss.
“I don’t think things ever bounced back between them after the sᴇx ᴛᴀᴘᴇ,” she continued. “You go through a trauma like that and dynamics change. They haven’t shared that same intimacy because I think Josslyn, and maybe Cam, sᴛɪʟʟ ғᴇᴇʟs sᴏ sᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ ᴀɴᴅ sᴏ ᴠɪᴏʟᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴀɴᴅ sʜᴇ ᴀssᴏᴄɪᴀᴛᴇs ʙᴇɪɴɢ ɪɴᴛɪᴍᴀᴛᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʜɪᴍ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ sᴄᴀʀʏ ᴛʜɪɴɢ ɴᴏᴡ . Which is really hard to deal with when you’re 19-year-olds in a relationship and there are so many unspoken wounds.”
Plus, there’s Josslyn’s newfound attraction towards Dex that’s further complicating matters. Especially since she’s keeping Cameron completely in the dark about what’s happening there! “I think she does feel guilty about it,” McCoy allowed, “but I think she’s also a bit put out by Cam’s behavior. She’s constantly like, ‘Cam did this, so it’s fine that I’m doing that.’ I think it’s her natural tendency, because of her guilt, to try to justify her own behavior.”
One thing’s for sure — things can’t keep going on the way they are. Josslyn is going to have to make a decision as to whether or not to keep trying with Cameron or cut him loose. Eden McCoy Reveals How Josslyn Feels About Dex on GENERAL HOSPITAL!
Cameron may still be oblivious, but fans have definitely noticed the sparks flying between Josslyn and Dex on GENERAL HOSPITAL! Things may have gotten off to a rough start when she caught him and Sonny beating up Felty in the stairwell, but Dex later helped her save Ava’s life after she was attacked and even went dumpster diving with her to find Avery’s missing bracelet!
“This is the first time they’ve really had like, pure one-on-one time when they’re not in a group or getting interrupted by someone,” Eden McCoy admitted of the messy encounter in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “They end up having a moment of ʀᴇᴀʟ ᴘʜʏsɪᴄᴀʟ ᴄʟᴏsᴇɴᴇss that they didn’t previously share, and the dialogue in that scene is really personal, as well.”
Not only did the pair get ᴘʜʏsɪᴄᴀʟʟʏ ᴄʟᴏsᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴅᴜᴍᴘsᴛᴇʀ, but they also made a real emotional connection. “It’s kind of like the first time that Dex opens up a little bit to Josslyn,” the actress explained. “He talks about his family and it’s her first experience of him being vulnerable. And I think there’s a physical attraction there, too, which is fun to play.”
Although it’s not going to be fun if her boyfriend, Cameron, gets wind of these new feelings she’s starting to have for Sonny’s new right-hand man! Which is why Josslyn has been avoiding mentioning anything about it to him. “She’s in total denial,” McCoy said of Joss’ feelings for Dex. “Like, she knows, but it’s not something she wants to speak into existence, perhaps because it’s uncomfortably powerful for her right now.”
