Back in July 2021 Todd and Julie Chrisley had something to celebrate: Their son Chase’s sobriety. The proud parents beamed as they revealed Chase was eight months sober from controlled substances and alcohol. The parents clarified it was marijuana and alcohol that their son stepped away from.

To date, Chase Chrisley would be celebrating 2.5 years of sobriety (approximately 34 months). Unfortunately, something Todd and Julie’s son said during his recent appearance on Savannah’s podcast revealed he may have ditched his sobriety. Ditched it near the end of his relationship with Emmy Medders.

During the first 10 minutes of the new episode of Savannah’s podcast, Chase admits he had a little too much to drink one night. And, it resulted in him going off on a bit of an angry rant. While he didn’t share the details of exactly what was said, he implied that he may have verbally attacked Emmy Medders.

“I got drunk and said some sh*t I shouldn’t have said. But I stand by everything I said.”

While he seemed mostly ready to change the subject, Savannah pressed for more. She told her brother he couldn’t just spill that drop of tea and not share more. Diving back in, Chase clarified he wished he would have approached the moment with a clearer mind and a better “headspace.”

He acknowledged that his “delivery” in the moment with his feelings could have been handled differently. At the end of it all, however, he was good with everything he said.
Sadly, Chase Chrisley proceeded to explain that Emmy Medders just wasn’t the girl he thought she was. He, however, acknowledged they both made mistakes in the relationship.

Savannah Chrisley Teased Shady Secrets

Now, Savannah admitted that she was a bit of a stalker. She was not afraid of going down a rabbit hole of people’s social media accounts and their family member’s social media accounts to get to the truth. Unfortunately, Savannah shares that she did that with Emmy. This resulted in her finding some less-than-ideal things about Emmy. While Chase was interested in knowing what she found, Savannah didn’t go into details.

Technically, fans don’t really know for sure if this is Chase’s first time falling off the wagon since he celebrated his eight months of sobriety two years ago. Fans, however, hope Chase can find a way to reclaim his sobriety or at least avoid drinking so much that he lands in that negative headspace again.

Chrisley Knows Best fans heard that things didn’t work out for the engaged couple after Todd and Julie went to prison. Savannah didn’t like Emmy and made that clear on her Unlocked podcast. Apparently, Emmy decided to ditch Todd’s son first, but he claimed it was a mutual decision. Actually, there seem to be some bad feelings in the family.

Chase Chrisley later claimed that he was lucky to be free from Emmy Medders. He told Savannah that he drank some alcohol, and said some wrong things, and Emmy slammed the door in his face. He actually slammed people who date him who don’t have lots of money So, he claimed that he wanted someone older who isn’t “broke.” However, it doesn’t look like he chose an older person.

After Chase Chrisley posted a photo of a woman’s hands, USA Network fans took it as a soft launch. On Reddit, u/VermicelliMother1662 believed they identified the girl as Kylee Cole. The caption read: “Chase has a new love interest and I’ve found her IG lol. Poor girl.”

The Same Person?

The Redditor thought the woman in the car was the same one in the photo by Savannah’s brother. They said, “…the silver bracelet on her right hand (the one that doesn’t fully close) is the same one as the one in the photo, same arm as the Apple Watch.” Interestingly, on Kylees’s Instagram, Chase Chrisley is listed as a follower.

One follower in the community opined, “People who “move on” quickly and flaunt it on social media often do it to get a rise out of their ex or to validate some sort of theory they make up in their own head. Only true way to heal is in a manner that doesn’t require the acknowledgment of others.”

Unfortunately, Chase Chrisley didn’t really dive into the details of the “sh*t” he was going through. But, fans that follow his family are already well-versed. Sadly, it sounds as though Chase was implying Emmy Medders wasn’t happy with the legal drama surrounding his mother and father. Ultimately, she decided to end the relationship as opposed to continuing to be there for Chase.

While fans don’t know all of the details about things Emmy Medders is going through, fans can assume her father’s health is a huge part of it. Chase Chrisley told his sister that he did what he could to be there for Emmy during her struggles. But, it didn’t sound as if she returned the favor.

Savannah Chrisley also made it pretty clear during the conversation that she did not care for Emmy Medders. She said she thought she was a good person. And, she was not trying to get on the podcast and bash her. But, she did not trust Emmy. She questioned her “intentions” of getting married to Chase.

Moreover, Savannah Chrisley argued that it felt like Chase was choosing Emmy’s family over his own during their relationship.
