General Hospital Recap: Cyrus Gave Drew An Ominous Warning

In this episode, Drew did some snooping around at Pentonville while Diane and Robert discussed his case. Nina and Valentin worried about Charlotte. Anna confused Olivia about the missing security footage while Neddie made more plans for his Savoy performance. Willow also reported for her first day back at work and immediately did Sam and Sasha a major favor. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Cyrus Is Onto Drew

Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) caught up via phone, where he talked about spying for Sonny (Maurice Benard), not knowing that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was eavesdropping. The subject turned to Scout and Drew admitted he barely saw her. Carly begged him not to cut himself off from his daughter while she and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) worked on getting him out of Pentonville.

When they hung up, the guard told Drew who Austin (Roger Howarth) was visiting, but he was also lying. After Drew was finished talking with the guard, Cyrus gave Drew a warning. The warden was angry, wanted no incidents, and was about to put the place on lockdown. Drew was confused but believed what Cyrus said.

During a breakfast meeting at the Metro Court, Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Diane he thought he could help her free Drew. Robert thought that the judge wasn’t being hard on Drew per se. He was targeting Drew because of his girlfriend who was once married to a notorious mobster who traffics knock-off designer shoes. She thought she could use this to her advantage even if the WSB was not involved.

Valentin Fears For Charlotte

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) that he thought his neglect of Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) led to her acting out and targeting Anna (Finola Hughes). He even wondered if Charlotte was the one who burned Anna’s house down. Valentin had to admit he barely kept track of Charlotte and her spending and blamed himself for sending her to live with Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).

Eventually, Valentin made his way to the PCPD to talk to Dante about Charlotte and tell him that he was looking for a place to live with Charlotte again full-time.

Nina later took Charlotte for some breakfast at Kelly’s and was surprised that Carly knew all about Charlotte’s usual breakfast order. Charlotte claimed she had breakfast there with Jake a lot, and Nina realized that Charlotte was not always lying about spending time with Jake (Hudson West). Carly even made Charlotte happy when she told her she was a lot like Lulu.

Anna and Robert also spent some time together, and she was touched and shocked when Robert gifted her with a digital picture frame of them and their family. All the photos Anna thought she had lost were back in one place.

Dante and Sam discussed getting proof that Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and Montague (Darin Toonder) were setting Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) up to keep her in Ferncliff. They needed a toxicology report, so Sam decided to see if Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) would help her get it. After all, it was Willow’s first day back as a nurse at GH, so she could help Sam get her hands on records. Willow was shocked when she learned what was really going on with Sasha but agreed to do what was needed to help her friend.

Music And Mayhem

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Neddie (Wally Kurth) spent some time bonding in the Q mansion solarium. She told him all about her potential new client that would make a successful music manager. Neddie told BLQ that he needed to finish a song in order to sing at The Savoy, so Brook Lynn decided to be his encouraging moral support.

Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) spent time in her office remembering her night at The Savoy with Neddie as it became more clear that she was falling for her husband’s alter-ego. When Anna stopped in to look at the security footage, Olivia was surprised to hear there was a break-in. Anna told her all about it, so she and Olivia looked at the security footage once again. Olivia was shocked to see the footage was indeed missing. Anna was sure that someone had to have hacked the MC security system.
