It is no secret that Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders are no longer together. The details of what caused this relationship to end, however, were never really made clear. Fortunately, Chase Chrisley was a guest on his sister Savannah’s most recent podcast episode. Very early on in the podcast episode, Chase confirmed he and Emmy were over. He also confirmed he would be spilling some tea during the episode.

While talking to his sister about the end of his relationship, Chase Chrisley admits that Emmy Medders decided to dump him. The question is: Why?

Chase Chrisley Spills Emmy Medders Dumped Him & Why

Pretty early on in the conversation, Chase admitted that both he and Emmy were going through things. He did what he could to be there for her during her struggles. Unfortunately, he implied that Emmy Medders was not necessarily as supportive of him and his struggles. Chase told his sister that Emmy Medders dumped him instead of hanging on while he worked his own problems out. Now, Chase also tried to say the decision to end their relationship was mutual. But, that was after confessing that Emmy decided to dump him first.

Unfortunately, Chase Chrisley didn’t really dive into the details of the “sh*t” he was going through. But, fans that follow his family are already well-versed. Sadly, it sounds as though Chase was implying Emmy Medders wasn’t happy with the legal drama surrounding his mother and father. Ultimately, she decided to end the relationship as opposed to continuing to be there for Chase.

While fans don’t know all of the details about things Emmy Medders is going through, fans can assume her father’s health is a huge part of it. Chase Chrisley told his sister that he did what he could to be there for Emmy during her struggles. But, it didn’t sound as if she returned the favor.

Families Not A Good Match?

Savannah Chrisley also made it pretty clear during the conversation that she did not care for Emmy Medders. She said she thought she was a good person. And, she was not trying to get on the podcast and bash her. But, she did not trust Emmy. She questioned her “intentions” of getting married to Chase.

Moreover, Savannah Chrisley argued that it felt like Chase was choosing Emmy’s family over his own during their relationship.

To date, Emmy Medders has not issued an official statement on the end of her relationship with Chase Chrisley. After the release of Savannah Chrisley’s most recent podcast episode, Chrisley fans have all eyes on Emmy Medders. Will she tell her side of the story?

In it for the long haul? Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders have faced a few ups and downs in their relationship — including a brief breakup in 2021.

The Chrisley Knows Best star went public with his and Medders’ romance in summer of 2020, but the twosome had known each other for years. Ahead of their one-year anniversary the TV personality gushed to Us Weekly about his girlfriend.

“We’ll probably get takeout. Neither of us is too complicated with that,” he exclusively said in February 2021 of their plans for the milestone.

The Growing Up Chrisley star noted that they are “both pretty romantic,” pointing out what matters the most to him and the University of Georgia alum.

“It’s just about spending the quality time together,” the Chase Chrisley Collection founder said at the time. “It doesn’t really matter what we’re doing as long as we’re doing it together.”

While the twosome’s whirlwind romance caused some fans to think a proposal was coming sooner rather than later, Chase’s mom, Julie Chrisley, wasn’t ready for her son to be a husband.

“My mom thinks I have a lot of growing up to do,” Chase told Us in February 2021, noting that he didn’t know when he’d be ready to get down on one knee. “We’ll see what happens.”

The USA Network star revealed that he and Medders had talked about marriage and he was confident that he was “definitely” going to make her his wife one day.

Despite Julie’s reservations about Chase’s maturity, he explained that both his mom and his dad, Todd Chrisley, “100 percent” approved of the relationship.

“It makes it a lot easier,” Chase confessed. “My relationships in the past, they have not even been in the same room with my family.”

With so much talk about getting married, many fans were surprised in August 2021 when Chase told Life & Style that the pair split. “We just thought it would be healthier and better for both of us,” he said at the time. “I think that it just came down to we kind of looked at like what we wanted in life, and right now, it’s not matching up.”

The pair’s break, however, was short-lived. They were spotted spending time together in spring 2022 and by April of that year, photos of the duo together had resurfaced on Medders’ Instagram page. Chase, for his part, confirmed the rekindled romance in May 2022 after they vacations in Florida with friends and family.

“She and I have both talked about it. I’m definitely going to end up marrying her, probably,” Chase exclusively told Us about his engagement plans. “If she wants me. If she’ll take me, I’m all for it.”

Spring 2021
Season 8 of Chrisley Knows Best showed some tension between the couple as Medders called out her boyfriend for standing her up to spend time with his friends. Chase, for his part, claimed that his girlfriend was constantly calling or texting him, which caused him to feel smothered.

Summer 2021
When season 3 of Growing Up Chrisley premiered, the lovebirds had seemingly overcome their drama. In fact, Chase openly discussed the possibility of marriage with Medders on the show and bought an engagement ring — although he didn’t end up proposing on camera.

August 2021
The reality star confirmed to Life & Style that he was “single” after playing “ping-pong” a bit with Medders over the past few months. “I’ve never had so much peace hanging out by myself,” he explained at the time.

January 2022
Todd hinted to Life & Style that fans of the USA Network show have to “tune in to season 10” to see what’s “true” and what’s “not” about Chase’s relationship with the southern belle. “Emmy is a sweet girl. She has never been anything but kind to me,” the patriarch said at the time. “You know what? At the end of the day, I just want my son to be happy.”

April 2022
Medders seemingly revealed that she and Chase were dating again when she posted an Instagram picture with her beau in Nashville. The cozy reunion came one month after the pair were seen on each other’s Instagram Stories.

May 2022
Chase, for his part, confirmed that the couple was back on by sharing a series of Instagram photos of the twosome on a romantic vacation. He captioned the snaps with a blue heart and tagged his love.
