General Hospital Comings & Goings: Lexi Ainsworth Leaves Part of Kristina Corinthos
Coming up on GH, fan-fave character Kristina Corinthos will look different. Lexi Ainsworth has played Kristina since 2009 and is a major fan-favorite. She’s the daughter of mob kingpin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and former legal shark Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Indeed, Kristina gives them a run for their money. Thankfully, the character will remain on General Hospital. However, Lexi is leaving to pursue other dreams after nearly 14 years of playing Krissy.
Of course, Lexi loves her loyal fans dearly and recently shared a heartfelt message concerning her exit as Kristina. No doubt, she will miss the soap a great deal. However, she thinks leaving is the right thing to do so she can focus on other goals and dreams.
Lexi’s last airdate was April 27. So, the next time we see Krissy, she’ll look a bit different but also familiar to many soap fans…
GH Casting News: Kate Mansi Debuts as Krissy
General Hospital casting updates are thrilled to welcome Emmy winner Kate Mansi as the new Kristina. Days of our Lives fans will recognize Kate as Abigail Deveraux. Recently, Abby was killed off Days.
Now, Kate is taking over as Kristina. She has already begun taping and will debut in Portland Charles in the week of May 22. So welcome aboard, Kate — we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

More GH casting updates confirm the end of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). The mega-villain villain was last seen on The Haunted Star when it was blown up by the WSB drones. Soon, a body is recovered and will most likely be Vic’s.
Recently, the Victor actor promised an epic send-off for the villain, and his reign of terror is over. Also, super-villainess Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is out after a two-episode stint. Recently, she appeared as her son, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), was dying.
Thankfully he now has the antidote to Victor’s pathogen and should fully recover. In addition, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is back on-screen this week. He and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) anxiously await the return of their daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
