Chase said : ” I am ashamed that my parents are in jail .. please leave me and Emmy alone . We’re getting married soon’

Up until now, Chase Chrisley has remained the only member of his reality TV family not to speak out on Todd and Julie’s current situation. Lindsie and Savannah have been very vocal about the situation. Though, this wasn’t something Chrisley Knows Best fans found to be too shocking as they both have podcasts. Likewise, they are both significantly more active on social media than Chase is.

Grayson Chrisley also recently appeared on an episode of Savannah Chrisley’s where he shared his thoughts on the current situation. Considering he is still a minor and Savannah will be gaining custody of him, it is more than understandable for him to want to have some sort of voice in the situation.

Chase Chrisley’s life is full of love and happiness

Understandably, it might be hard for Chase Chrisley to feel too down about Todd and Julie’s situation because of how good life is for him right now. He recently popped the question and asked his girlfriend Emmy Medders to marry him. Chase actually made an effort to make sure Emmy’s father (who is battling ALS) was even there for the proposal. Emmy said yes and fans suspect they are rushing to get married before Todd and Julie end up behind bars.

Chase’s Instagram posts have reflected that his life is full of love and happiness with his future wife Emmy Medders by his side.

“God made you for me,” Chase penned in his most recent Instagram post which included a black-and-white snap of himself and Emmy that has people convinced they are trying to rush down the aisle before Todd and Julie end up behind bars.

Savannah asks why he hasn’t chimed in on the situation

Chase Chrisley very bluntly admits to his sister that his parents are in a “terrible” situation. But, he doesn’t believe he owes anyone anything. So, that’s why he hasn’t spoken out or issued a statement on the fact that his mother and father are headed to jail.

I don’t owe the public an explanation. I don’t need to explain how I feel to anybody, other than the people that I care about and that I love. Obviously, what we have been going through is h*ll. It is a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest time.

He continued to explain: “I feel like throughout everything that we have been going through, it has made me appreciate things I did not appreciate as much in the past. It’s made me do a lot of reflecting and just kind of figuring out who I am now as a man and who I wanna be in 10 years, and then 10 years from there and 10 years from there.”
