The American Pickers star has created several projects in the town to help invite visitors to the town.

On Monday, he posted a picture of a white-washed brick wall and a white garage door lit by a few lamps.

He wrote: “My new project in @visitcolumbia. Right off the square in the historic district.”

Mike shared another picture of the same building from a different angle and asked his followers: “What would you like to see this gem be?”

One of his other business ventures in town is Columbia Motor Alley, a historic former car dealership that features a full-service repair shop, classic cars to view, and more.

He also has a few rental units in the area for anyone who wants to visit the town.

THE BIG DROP

Mike has been busy teasing his other projects in light of the falling ratings for American Pickers.

At the end of December 2023, the antique expert returned to the show with sibling co-hosts Mike, Robbie Wolfe, 62, and co-star Jersey Jon, 60, for the Season 25 premiere.

The ratings dropped to a nearly all-time low, putting the show’s future in question.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the ratings for the premiere episode, Classic Car Cemetery, which reached about 723,000 viewers.

Viewership dropped even further during part two of the premiere, Hidden Cash Stash, which had only 676,000 people tuning in – the lowest premiere rating the show has had in some time.

The Season 24 premiere started with better numbers, with about 943,000 fans watching on January 4, 2023.

Fans have had mixed reviews about the program since Mike’s original co-host, Frank Fritz, 60, was fired in 2021 and replaced by Robbie.

A NEW HOST?

On Sunday, Mike teased a new collaboration with a fellow reality star.

The television host seems to have something cooking with O.G. handyman Ty Pennington from Trading Spaces.

Mike shared a photo standing next to the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition star.

Both men smiled, as they wrapped their arms around each other while standing behind a group of people.

In another photo, Mike’s girlfriend, Leticia Cline, joined the two, standing in the middle.

In the caption, Mike revealed: “Breaking news! My brother from another mother, Ty Pennington, and I finally connected after all of these years.

“He’s the Starsky to my Hutch. Preservation warriors on a mission to save small-town America. Stay tuned for some bad a**ery.”

Mike even gave Ty, 59, a special shoutout with the hashtag “Move that bus.”
