On Wednesday, Mike, 59, urged customers to visit the Antique Archeology location in Nashville to find a gift for their moms for Mother’s Day.

In a snap shared on the shop’s official Instagram profile, the photographer showed off several items for sale including a guitar, a banjo, and clothes.

The picture showed many potential customers looking around at the antiques scattered neatly on the walls and the sales floor.

The shop captioned their post, “Let the Mother’s Day shopping commence!

“We have some very smart people already knocking out their shopping early.”

MORE AP BUSINESSES

Mike isn’t the only American Pickers star to own a business.

His brother, Robbie, 57, owns an antique shop in Iowa that sells vintage cars, neon signs, and more.

Co-star Jersey Jon owns an antique restoration store in New Jersey that was hit with mixed reviews in the summer of 2023 with one customer slamming the employees as “rude.”

Mike’s girlfriend Leticia Cline, 45, recently opened up a coffee shop in March 2024.

COMPETING STORES

Frank Fritz, 58, who left American Pickers in 2021 and was replaced with Robbie, also has an antique shop named Frank Fritz Finds.

Mike and Frank’s store have competed against one another as they are both located in Iowa and just 45 miles away from each other.

While Mike’s store is typically flooded with customers, many don’t visit Frank’s store.

According to Experian’s Business Valuation Report for Frank Fritz Finds’, the shop has estimated annual sales are reportedly just $25,000.

Meanwhile, Antique Archeology’s Iowa location has $62,000 in annual sales per the same website as above.

A customer told The U.S. Sun back in Feburary, “Mike always has customers coming in and out of his store. It’s a lot of fans who check out the picks seen on the show and buy merchandise.”

Another source told the news outlet that people shop in Frank’s store “once in a while,” but it’s not as busy as Mike’s business.

MOVING FORWARD

Fans last saw Frank on the reality show in 2020 and officially left in 2021.

In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun last September, Frank’s friend revealed that he wasn’t fired from The History Channel hit series.

The pal said, “I wouldn’t say he was fired. He came home after a stint and said, ‘I think I’m going to be done for a while.’ I think he had burnout. His back surgery was major.”

The former TV star took time off from the show to recover from his surgery that left him with 185 stitches and two rods in his spine.

Along with his surgery, Frank suffered a stroke in 2022 and the friend said that he is “improving daily.”

Moving on from his health, the insider revealed what Mike and Frank’s friendship was like.

“They had arguments over stuff, disagreements as anybody does in business. It’s all business. Frank knows what business is like. Whatever decision came down, it came down. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

Outside of business, their friendship is fine. They’re fine. Their friendship is great today. They’ve known each other for 40 years. They’re great friends. They’re two professionals is what they are.”Frank's last American Pickers episode aired in 2020 and in 2021, he was officially off the show
