GH Spoilers: Ned Is Gone — Which Lucky PC Lady Will Eddie Maine End Up With?

Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has left the building and isn’t just being careless.

He doesn’t appear to be hiding behind what, based on all appearances, are Eddie Maine’s (Wally Kurth) eyes. There may never be another time for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to look at the husband she married through those eyes, but that doesn’t imply nothing may be discovered there.

Could Olivia fall for this updated (but unchanged) version of her husband, or could another Port Chuck woman try to win him over first?

Carly Spencer Isn’t an Option

When Eddie recently made a move on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at a nearby dive bar, it was almost as unbelievable to viewers as it was to Carly.

He pretends to be apologetic for unintentionally hurting Olivia and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), but he didn’t blink when he started flirting with Carly, who was unmistakably at the pub with her friend Olivia.

But what can we expect from a person like Eddie? So much for having any tact. But the relationship between Carly and Eddie will never materialize.

GH Spoilers Hint Nina Reeves Might Be

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was mildly interested in Eddie when he first came to stay at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place after being released from the hospital, but as usual, her interests were self-serving.

Nina was concerned that Ned might come to his senses and remember their conversation just prior to his fall — which could leave her flailing in the wind and exposed for her crimes.

It seems like Nina has grown a bit more convinced that Ned is gone for good — or so she hopes — and that likely means he’s going to drop off her radar until such a time arises that he gives her any alarm.

We’re Holding Out Hope for Olivia

It appears that fans who were hoping Olivia would fall in love with Ned in his rock star persona could just get their dream. Olivia is at peace with the fact that she can’t persuade her husband to come out of hiding and she is convinced that Eddie isn’t deliberately attempting to cause harm to anyone.

Eddie might start to develop feelings for Olivia for many of the same reasons Ned previously did as he learns that she really respects his authority.
