Curse of Oak Island fans started growing bored with the History Channel show, but Season 11 brings in new archaeologists and more. Will, that spark things up? For a long time now, people waited for something huge to prove history isn’t always right.

Curse of Oak Island Is Losing The Attention Of Viewers?

Some people feel that the show’s been running for too long to prove the theory of who first visited the Americas. While some extremely interesting finds have been made, it seems that their value isn’t all that great. Considering the number of years of treasure hunting, some people can only hope that history might be rewritten one day.

Season 11 hasn’t been a complete washout and the team thinks they found something that points to the Templar treasure on the island. Still, History Channel viewers seem to grow skeptical of anything massive. The Curse of Oak Island either seems to fascinate people or bore them. And then, of course, there are the pedantic who want real proven history shown rather than those shows trying to prove alternative theories.

New Archeologist & Others Keep The Show Going?

New faces include Fiona Steele, and according to Distractify, she’s not well known apart from participating in the talk-show-style podcast, “Curse of Oak Island: Drilling Down.” The outlet also mentioned “archeologist Jamie Kouba and archaeometallurgist Emma Mulligan.” It was Fiona and Jamie who discovered some “earthenware.” But, will they hold the attention of History Channel viewers for much longer?

On Reddit, an OP got Curse of Oak Island viewers mocking the show a bit. The caption said:

I used to eagerly await Tuesdays, but my patience has run out, they need to find the treasure -I don’t care if they fake it, that would be a great conspiracy theory for a comeback show? I’m at the point where I’ll only watch “season 12” if they find the treasure in season 11, and season 12 is all about what they found. Seriously.

The presence of the new archeologists doesn’t seem to have made many people overly excited. In the comments, the mockery arrived:

Haven’t you heard? They have found treasure. The real treasure is the friends they’ve made along the way.
I gave up a third into this season. Have watched from day one. Now I just follow this subreddit and poke fun.
Me too. Getting bored with the format.
I have to admit. We watched every week for years. Watched the first episode this season and haven’t watched since.
There is no treasure! Or at least nothing left. Had to be a privateer outpost or something…
What are your thoughts about the newcomers to the History Channel show? Do you think that archeologists Fiona Steele, Jamie Kouba, and archaeometallurgist Emma Mulligan will make the show more interesting? Sound off in the comments below, and come back here for all your Curse of Oak Island news.
