Josh Harris, 38, the son of legendary Captain Phil Harris, has returned to the show for a new season. He is the co-captain of Cornelia Marie. Captain Phil Harris was the captain of Cornelia Marie before he died of a heart attack in 2010. Since then, Josh has been working hard to get his precious Marie back.

In 2014, Josh and his partner, Captain Casey McManus, purchased the boat. The captain finally got his precious Cornelia back. Josh was part of the Time Bandit crew in Season 8 until 2013. He first made an appearance in the third season of Deadliest Catch. Since his arrival, Josh earned a captain license. Since his appearance, Harris has accumulated quite a fan following.

Josh’s love for Cornelia was tested when Captain Keith offered him the position of relief captain on the Wizard, but he decided to stay the captain of Cornelia. Apart from the ship, Harris and his brother Jay Karius published a book titled Captain Phil Harris: The Legendary Crab Fisherman, Our Hero, Our Dad.

Captain Josh has been in a relationship with Jenna Bullis, but his current relationship status is unknown. The captain has made his earnings from fishing and his book, which has amounted to $800,000.
